ListeningListening
- 4 sections, difficulté croissante, 40 questions, 30 minutes d'écoute + 10 minutes pour reporter tes réponses.

- Lis toujours les questions AVANT l'audio : elles suivent l'ordre exact de l'enregistrement.
- Always read the questions BEFORE the audio: they follow the exact order of the recording.
- Attention à l'orthographe et au pluriel — une faute annule la réponse même si le mot est le bon.
- Watch spelling and plurals — a spelling mistake cancels the answer even if the word is right.
- Section 4 (cours magistral) est la plus difficile : entraîne-toi à repérer les reformulations (synonymes).
- Section 4 (lecture) is the hardest: practise spotting paraphrases (synonyms) of the question wording.
ReadingReading
- 3 textes académiques, 40 questions, 60 minutes — aucun temps supplémentaire pour reporter les réponses.
- 3 academic texts, 40 questions, 60 minutes — no extra time to transfer answers.
- Ne lis pas tout le texte en détail d'abord : repère la structure (titres, premier paragraphe) puis va aux questions.
- Don't read everything in detail first: scan the structure (headings, first paragraph), then go to the questions.
- Pour "True/False/Not Given" : "Not Given" signifie que l'info n'est simplement pas dans le texte, pas qu'elle est fausse.
- For True/False/Not Given: "Not Given" means the info simply isn't in the text, not that it's false.
- Vise environ 20 minutes par texte pour garder du temps pour le texte 3, souvent le plus dense.
- Aim for about 20 minutes per text to keep time for text 3, usually the densest.
WritingWriting
- Task 1 (150 mots min., ~20 min conseillées) : décris un graphique, tableau ou diagramme. Task 2 (250 mots min., ~40 min) : essai argumentatif.
- Task 1 (min. 150 words, ~20 min suggested): describe a chart, table or diagram. Task 2 (min. 250 words, ~40 min): argumentative essay.
- Task 2 compte pour 2x plus que Task 1 dans la note finale — priorise ton temps dessus si tu es en retard.
- Task 2 counts twice as much as Task 1 in the final score — prioritise it if you're running out of time.
- Structure Task 2 : introduction (reformule le sujet) → 2-3 paragraphes d'arguments → conclusion claire.
- Task 2 structure: introduction (paraphrase the topic) → 2-3 body paragraphs → clear conclusion.
- Utilise des connecteurs logiques variés (however, moreover, as a result...) sans en abuser.
- Use varied linking words (however, moreover, as a result...) without overusing them.
SpeakingSpeaking
- Entretien de 11-14 minutes en 3 parties : questions personnelles, monologue de 2 min sur un sujet tiré au sort, discussion approfondie.
- 11-14 minute interview in 3 parts: personal questions, a 2-minute monologue on a random topic, an in-depth discussion.
- Part 2 : tu as 1 minute de préparation avec papier et stylo — note 3-4 mots-clés, pas des phrases entières.
- Part 2: you get 1 minute of prep time with paper and pen — jot down 3-4 keywords, not full sentences.
- La fluidité et la spontanéité comptent plus que la perfection grammaticale : ne t'arrête pas pour te corriger.
- Fluency and spontaneity matter more than grammatical perfection: don't stop to self-correct.
Comment fonctionne l'examen blanc ?How does the mock exam work?
Reading et Writing sont entièrement chronométrés et corrigés/évalués automatiquement, exactement comme le jour J. Listening et Speaking sont proposés en simulateur chronométré (le site ne peut pas encore évaluer l'audio, mais le format et le temps sont réels).
Reading and Writing are fully timed and auto-scored/assessed, exactly like exam day. Listening and Speaking are offered as a timed simulator (the site can't yet grade audio, but the format and timing are real).
Part 2 — Cue Card : Décris un voyage que tu as particulièrement apprécié. Tu devrais parler de : où tu es allé(e), avec qui, ce que tu as fait, et pourquoi tu as apprécié ce voyage.
